Our birthing and postpartum suites in the Louis Harrington Center for Mothers and Babies are designed to provide comfort and privacy.
Each suite includes a full bathroom so you can feel more at home during your stay.
We also offer couplet care, which means your baby stays with you throughout your hospital stay, promoting bonding and a seamless transition to life at home.
For newborns needing specialized care, the Lucy & John Carr Level III NICU offers advanced support for babies facing critical conditions. Equipped with the latest technology and a team of dedicated neonatal specialists, we provide a high level of care to help your newborn thrive.
Mothers experiencing high-risk pregnancies or complications can find peace of mind at our Level III Maternal Facility. We focus on delivering compassionate, expert care for expectant mothers, prioritizing both mom's and baby's health to achieve the best possible outcomes.
We are proud to be a Texas Ten Step facility, promoting breastfeeding as a key part of your baby’s health and development.
Our inpatient and outpatient lactation services are staffed by board-certified lactation consultants who provide one-on-one guidance to help you and your baby establish successful breastfeeding practices.
We also offer a breastfeeding support group designed to provide mothers with a welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and get valuable guidance from certified lactation consultants. Held every Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as a come-and-go, in Tyler, the group is free to join and open to all breastfeeding mothers in East Texas.
