Breast Exams

What is a Breast Exam?

It's vital that women pay attention to their breast health starting in their 20s and 30s and receive regular breast exams. A clinical breast exam (CBE) can detect lumps in breasts and any other abnormal changes. At CHRISTUS Health, we offer routine breast exams for women and men who have a personal history of breast cancer.

You can improve your chances of detecting breast cancer early by performing annual breast exams. A CHRISTUS physician will check your breast for abnormal lumps. If abnormal lumps are detected, further screening may be recommended by your physician.
