Facial Surgery

Facial Surgery

Facial surgery can deliver the largest amount of desired change in good candidates, which is why it’s often referred to as the “Gold Standard” of facial rejuvenation. The improvements are substantial, and they can last in the range of 8–10 years. A natural, more youthful appearance is the fundamental goal for any facelift or facial surgery procedure.

Outpatient Procedure

All facial surgeries are outpatient, meaning you can return home the same day as your procedure. However, recovery can take two to three weeks, so patients should plan to take adequate time off to rest and heal. We closely monitor recovery, ensuring patients receive the support and guidance they need.

Once recovery is complete, you can enjoy seeing your rejuvenated face in the mirror for years to come. Procedures may be performed individually or combined for more comprehensive results. Treating areas early can sometimes avoid the need for larger procedures later. Optimal results are often achieved when surgery is paired with injectable fillers and regular skin care.

Brow Lift

A brow lift, or forehead lift, raises the brows to a more youthful position, softens forehead wrinkles, and reduces the appearance of frown lines between the eyes. This procedure can open up the eye area, creating a refreshed, alert look.

  • Smooths horizontal forehead creases
  • Reduces frown lines between the eyebrows
  • Raises sagging brows that hood the upper eyelids

Brow lifts are often performed under anesthesia and may use traditional or endoscopic techniques. Recovery typically takes 1–2 weeks, with final results becoming more visible as swelling resolves.

Lip Lift

A lip lift shortens the space between the nose and upper lip (philtrum), improving lip proportion and enhancing the visibility of the upper teeth when smiling. This procedure can create a fuller, more youthful upper lip shape without the use of fillers.

  • Improves lip balance and proportion
  • Enhances smile aesthetics
  • Provides permanent results compared to temporary fillers

Lip lifts are performed under local or general anesthesia depending on the case. Recovery is generally 1–2 weeks, with swelling and mild discomfort that subsides over time. Scars are usually well hidden along the base of the nose.

Midface Lift

As we age, we lose facial fat. In the area of the face referred to as the mid-face—the cheeks and the region just beneath the lower eyelids—furrows can develop and the cheek tissue can become lax and appear irregular.

In addition, the nasolabial folds, the crease going from the nose down to the corner of the mouth, can become quite deep. In this case we can consider doing a cheek or a “mid-face lift,” a procedure designed to elevate the cheeks.

By lifting the cheek, we soften the crease of the nasolabial folds and bring tissue up under the eye; this shortens and better supports the eyelids. Patients typically recover in two to three weeks.

Otoplasty (Cosmetic Ear Surgery)

Otoplasty reshapes or repositions the ears to create a more balanced and natural appearance. This procedure is often chosen to correct prominent ears, improve symmetry, or refine ear shape.

  • Pins back protruding ears
  • Improves ear proportion and symmetry
  • Can address ear shape irregularities from birth or injury

Otoplasty is typically performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Recovery is about 1–2 weeks, and a headband may be worn temporarily to support healing. Results are usually permanent.
